Hello y'all this nonsense about having to write a blog for the tournament is absolutely no fun. all i got to talk about was how we played awesome. but, i couldnt write about how much better we were than the other team, and how we controllled the ball the entire game. plus i couldnt even talk about how the refs were sooo rude! blahh!
so yeah, i just talked about how stef did awesome in goal (as usual). Meg Kane had some wonderful clears in the back, and a few times when she saved our butts. Then jess gonzalez and kristen also played amazing in back. Then maura played great on her first time in alicia's spot! and THE Erin McQuinn played amazing as usual, not that i'm at all surprised. Alyssa played great on forward and i thought she would have scored on a few of those awesome shots!!
I think we definitely deserved to win our game, and i am so mad at the terrible refs. My favorite quote had to be when McNally was complaining about the refs and the line ref goes "COACH, HE'S A REF FOR A REASON". and mcnally goes "yeah...because he passed an OPEN BOOK test". hahhaha oh god!
get ready for a great game tomorrow girls. Play hard & dont give up. tooodles. NCNY
